Who makes Kirkland Signature Chinet Red Plastic Cups, 18 oz, 240 ct?

The common claim
What’s commonly claimed, and what the evidence supports
A common answer names Dart Container (the maker of the branded Solo red cup) as the source of Kirkland's red party cups, but that is not what the label shows. Costco sells the product as 'Kirkland Signature Chinet 18 oz Plastic Cup, Red,' an on-label co-brand: Chinet is the disposable-tableware brand of Finnish packaging company Huhtamaki, so the cups are manufactured by Huhtamaki under its Chinet brand and named as such on Costco's own listings. Dart's Solo cup is the name-brand comparison, not the maker.
Evidence & sources
Each source is graded on the six-tier evidence rubric, where tier 1 is strongest. Sources are archived, so a citation still works if the original page moves or goes behind a paywall.
Tier 4
Reproduces Costco's own product name for the red party cups, 'Kirkland Signature Chinet Red Cups', documenting the on-label co-brand (Chinet). Costco's own listings use the identical name ('Kirkland Signature Chinet 18 oz Plastic Cup, Red, 240-count', costco.com products 100421211 / 100331438), but costco.com blocks automated archiving; this reseller listing, which pulls Costco's catalog data, is the archivable witness to the co-branded product name.
Tier 6
'For the iconic red cups, that partner is Chinet - a brand familiar to many households for its disposable tableware,' which the article notes 'is owned by Huhtamaki, a packaging company founded in Finland.' Identifies Chinet's corporate parent (Huhtamaki); a roundup article with no independent sourcing of its own, included to corroborate the co-brand and name the manufacturing parent.
