The common claim
What’s commonly claimed, and what the evidence supports
Roundup articles and 'who makes Kirkland' explainers name Reynolds, the maker of Reynolds Wrap, and the evidence backs them. Costco sells the product under the dual-brand name 'Kirkland Signature Reynolds Foodservice Foil,' an on-label co-brand that names Reynolds outright on Costco's own listings and on the box. This is one of the Kirkland items where the manufacturer is disclosed on the label rather than hidden. Claims that circulate for other private-label foils (Republic Foil or Handi-Foil) do not apply here; the Reynolds name is printed on the package.
Evidence & sources
Each source is graded on the six-tier evidence rubric, where tier 1 is strongest. Sources are archived, so a citation still works if the original page moves or goes behind a paywall.
Tier 4
Documents the on-label co-brand: 'A box of Kirkland Signature Reynolds Foodservice Foil contains a roll that is 12 inches by 1,000 ft,' and states that in buying the Kirkland foil 'you are buying a foil made by Reynolds.' The key fact is Costco's own dual-brand product name, which prints Reynolds on the package; the article reproduces it. An on-label co-brand is tier-4 evidence (Costco's own product naming).
Tier 4
'That company is Reynolds, and its name appears in the names of Kirkland's aluminum foil products, from the 18-inch-by-500-foot roll of Kirkland Signature Reynolds Heavy Duty Foodservice Aluminum Foil to the 500-count box of Kirkland Signature Reynolds Foodservice Aluminum Foil Pre-Cut Single Sheets.' Independent confirmation that Reynolds is co-branded across the Kirkland foodservice-foil line: an on-label disclosure, not a hidden supplier.
