Who makes Kirkland Signature Men's Heavyweight Crew Tee, 6-pack?
As of July 6, 2026, evidence points to Campers World Apparel LLC as the manufacturer of Kirkland Signature Men's Heavyweight Crew Tee, 6-pack, but no tier 1–3 source names the link directly.
The common claim
What’s commonly claimed, and what the evidence supports
The prevailing answer online is that Costco keeps its t-shirt maker anonymous, with guesses ranging from Gildan to Hanes to unnamed 'overseas OEM factories.' Costco's own product data is more specific: its manufacturer field names Campers World Apparel LLC for the Kirkland Signature Men's Heavyweight Crew Tee, a value that is stable across late-2025 and 2026 snapshots, and trade-import records associate Campers World Apparel with Costco's apparel sourcing. Because that field can name a vendor or brand-company of record rather than the sewing plant, the evidence points to Campers World Apparel LLC as the supplier of record, not a confirmed factory.
Evidence & sources
Each source is graded on the six-tier evidence rubric, where tier 1 is strongest. Sources are archived, so a citation still works if the original page moves or goes behind a paywall.
Tier 4
Costco's manufacturer field (mfName in its product-detail catalog data) reads "CAMPERS WORLD APPAREL LLC" for the Kirkland Signature Men's Heavyweight Crew Tee (item 100754787), and a feature bullet reads "Made in Ethiopia or India." The value is stable across two snapshots (2025-12-13 and 2026-01-09), so it is a persistent field, not a one-off. Public import records (Costco Wholesale Korea Limited a/c Campers World Apparel LLC) associate this vendor with Costco's apparel sourcing. Apparel has no plant-code registry, and Costco's manufacturer field can name a vendor/brand-company of record rather than the sewing plant, so this field, as the sole route, caps at probable per the calibrated grading rule (matching the jeans -> One Jeanswear pattern). costco.com blocks live fetch; read from the Wayback snapshot.
