Who makes Kirkland Signature Hard Seltzer, 24-Can Variety Pack?

The common claim
What’s commonly claimed, and what the evidence supports
Nearly every answer page frames this as Costco's White Claw dupe, and several hedge the maker ("the company that may be behind..."). The packaging answers it: the brewing statement reads "Brewed by Patco Brands," Hood River, Oregon (quoted by Food Republic, November 2024), and the packaging has carried Patco's Hood River address since at least 2020 (Chowhound). Patco is a private-label beverage producer (also behind Rancho La Gloria RTD margaritas and Kyla Hard Kombucha) whose own site lists Costco among its retail partners. No evidence connects White Claw's maker, Mark Anthony Brands, to the Kirkland product.
Evidence & sources
Each source is graded on the six-tier evidence rubric, where tier 1 is strongest. Sources are archived, so a citation still works if the original page moves or goes behind a paywall.
Tier 4
Quotes the mandatory brewing statement on the packaging: "it's written right there on the label: 'Brewed by Patco Brands' in Hood River, Oregon." Also notes that on its own website "Patco lists Costco and other retail giants it works with."
Tier 4
Independent packaging check reaching the same name: "As of at least 2020, the address on the packaging of Kirkland Signature seltzer matches that of Patco Brands." Corroborates with Patco's own site, which describes the company as "a leader in private label beverage development and production" working with Costco, Target, Walmart, Kroger and others.
