The common claim
What’s commonly claimed, and what the evidence supports
Top answers say Kirkland Signature daily disposables are rebranded CooperVision MyDay lenses, and the evidence supports it. Costco's own optical store page lists "Manufacturer: CooperVision" for the Kirkland lens and shows the same stenfilcon A material and 54% water content as MyDay, and major contact-lens retailers cross-list the two as the same lens ("Same as MyDay Daily Disposable").
Evidence & sources
Each source is graded on the six-tier evidence rubric, where tier 1 is strongest. Sources are archived, so a citation still works if the original page moves or goes behind a paywall.
Tier 4
Costco's own contact-lens store page lists, in the product details for the Kirkland Signature Daily Disposable 90-pack: "Material: stenfilcon A ... Water Content: 54% ... Manufacturer: CooperVision" — Costco naming the manufacturer outright, with the same stenfilcon A material and 54% water content as CooperVision's MyDay daily disposables. (Snapshot of March 2026; costco.com properties block bots, so this is cited via an existing Wayback capture.)
Tier 4
Re-verification, July 2026: the live vendor-filtered listing shows the Kirkland Signature Daily Disposable 90-pack as the single 'Kirkland Signature' brand result under the CooperVision, Inc. vendor filter — the attribution still stands on Costco's own store. Fresh content-verified snapshot taken 2026-07-11.
Tier 6
Retailer catalog corroboration: Lens.com files the product under "Contact Lenses > CooperVision > Store Brands > Kirkland Signature Premium Daily Disposable (Same as MyDay Daily Disposable)". Other major lens retailers (1-800 Contacts, ContactsAmerica, JustLenses) cross-list the same equivalence. Graded tier 6 because retailer catalogs are not independent reporting; included as corroboration alongside the tier-4 Costco anchor.
